Wednesday, April 19 is this year's official 'Talk With Our Kids About Money Day'

WINNIPEG, April 18, 2017 /CNW/ - As the national showcase event for the 'Talk With Our Kids About Money' program, the Manitoba Legislature will be the scene of a regional Money Fair comprising teams of students from Brandon and Winnipeg area schools. The national showcase event is being hosted by Manitoba Education and Training. Talk With Our Kids About Money Day, a program created by the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE), and supported by Scotiabank, is designed to get teachers and parents engaged in helping young Canadians learn more about money and personal finances to prepare for their financial futures.

CFEE works collaboratively with ministries and departments of education along with school boards, schools, educators, and teacher associations.
