Scotiabank Closes Transaction to Sell Roynat Lease Finance to Meridian Credit Union Limited

TORONTO, ON - April 29, 2016 /CNW/ - The Bank of Nova Scotia ("Scotiabank") announced today that it has completed the transaction, announced on April 19, to sell its business operations and assets of Roynat Lease Finance, a division of Roynat Inc. to Meridian Credit Union Limited. The transaction has met all of the regulatory requirements and is not material to Scotiabank.
