Participants Are Fundraising for 85 Local Charities as Part of the Scotiabank Charity Challenge
HALIFAX, ON - May 16, 2016 /CNW/ - Over 12,000 runners will hit the roads of Halifax for the 13th annual Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon on May 21 - 22. Many runners will be raising funds for one of the 85 charities associated with the 2016 Scotiabank Charity Challenge in Halifax, including the three local, Featured Charities:
A last minute Charity Challenge entry is the Canadian Red Cross - Alberta Fires Appeal.

Scotiabank proudly hosts a Scotiabank Charity Challenge at each of the Bank's six sponsored marathon events across Canada including Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto.
The Scotiabank Charity Challenge is a turnkey fundraising program that provides a simple way for race participants to support local causes that make a significant impact on Canadian communities. Participating charities keep 100% of the proceeds raised, as Scotiabank pays for all transaction and credit card fees.
