MEDIA ADVISORY: International VIPs Expected to Attend the Carnival Ball

TORONTO, ON - July 22, 2015 /CNW/ - The Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival Ball is an evening to discover the formal side of the Carnival. This elegant evening at the Liberty Grand showcases masquerade models, music, dancing, exotic cuisine, signature drinks, sensational sights, sounds and tastes in support of The Caribbean Children Foundation.

What: 
The Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival Ball is an evening that honours the rich history of the Carnival and recognizes the significant impact of those who have contributed and volunteered countless hours to this event throughout the years.

Where: 
The Ball will take place in the Liberty Grand Ballroom on the Exhibition Place grounds at 25 British Columbia Road.

Who:
Because the Ball is scheduled to be held during the closing days of the 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games, the Caribbean Carnival is expecting a large number of VIP guests from the competing countries that share a love and understanding of Carnival.

When: 
The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with a cocktail and fundraising reception in the Liberty Grand's private outdoor garden. A gourmet dinner and awards ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m. The evening continues with a runway show of costumes and the Jump Up After Party from 10:00 p.m. to midnight.

NOTE: Media coverage of the Ball is by invitation. Journalists will not be seated at the Ball. There will be seating and snack foods on the balcony overlooking the stage.
