WINNIPEG, MB - December 10, 2014 /CNW/ - Two-time Olympic gold medalist and Amazing Race Canada participant, Meaghan Mikkelson will coach over 250 female minor hockey players at Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest Winnipeg on Saturday, December 13, 2014

The girls will have an unforgettable day of skills training, fun and encouragement to inspire them to reach for their goals. The free event is comprised of on and off-ice hockey training, a community outreach component and a keynote address from Mikkelson. During the event, there will also be a special goalie clinic.

Over 250 minor girl hockey players (7 - 12 years old)

8:30 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. - Girls will rotate between on and off-ice skills training, a community outreach component and a keynote address.
1:15 p.m. Meaghan Mikkelson keynote presentation
