Hockey Fans Can Enter to Win the Ultimate My #HockeyDay Fan Party With a Hockey Legend
TORONTO, ON - February 06, 2015 /CNW/ - Canadians from coast-to-coast are invited to participate in the biggest national celebration of hockey on February 14 with Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada*. While the event will be hosted in Halifax, NS, Canadians across the country can participate by watching the broadcast at home with family and friends, and by sharing how they are celebrating, using the hashtag: #HockeyDay. Scotiabank will be running an exciting contest that will give one lucky fan the opportunity to win the Ultimate My #HockeyDay Fan Party.
Canadians can enter the contest on Facebook or Twitter by submitting their story using the hashtag #HockeyDay. Fans are encouraged to tag the friends and family they would invite to their party. The Ultimate My #HockeyDay Fan Party contest closes on February 8, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. ET, with the winning draw taking place on February 9, 2015**. The grand prize includes:

In its 15th year, Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada is an annual hockey tradition that unites Canadians from coast-to-coast in their love of the national sport. This year's main event will be hosted in Halifax, Nova Scotia from February 11-14. Scotiabank Hockey Ambassadors and NHL Alumni™ Guy Carbonneau, Mark Napier, Darcy Tucker, Lanny McDonald, and Wendel Clark, as well as Cassie Campbell-Pascall will be onsite in Halifax to participate in kids' hockey clinics plus a variety of local community events.
Official Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada celebrations also will take place in Chambly, QC, Toronto, ON, and Ladner, BC as part of the live 13-hour television broadcast on February 14. The broadcast begins at 12 p.m. ET on CBC and Sportsnet featuring all seven Canadian NHL teams in a series of four games.
