OTTAWA, ON - March 12, 2014 /CNW/ - NHL Alumni and former Ottawa Senators player Brad Marsh will coach hundreds of minor girl and boy hockey players during the Scotiabank Community HockeyFest this weekend. It is taking place in St. Isidore on Saturday, March 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and in Ottawa on Sunday, March 16 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The events are part of a 10 part hockey series, which has taken over the 2013-2014 hockey season for the 10 participating districts in the Ottawa area.
The events will provide a unique blend of skills training, fun and encouragement to inspire kids to reach for their goals on and off the ice. Participants will have a fun and inspiring day of on and off-ice skills training and a keynote address from the former NHL star on how hard work and dedication helped him reach his goals.
