OTTAWA, ON - March 22, 2014 /CNW/ - Canadian women's hockey champions Cassie Campbell-Pascall and Tessa Bonhomme are teaming up to coach over 300 female minor hockey players at Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest, Ottawa. The girls will have an unforgettable day of skills training, fun and encouragement to inspire them to reach for their goals. The all-day event is comprised of on and off-ice training, a community outreach component and a keynote address from both coaches.

WHO: Cassie Campbell-Pascall, two-time Olympic team captain and gold medalist and former captain of the Canadian National Women's Hockey Team
Tessa Bonhomme, Olympic gold medalist

Players from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa women's hockey teams
Over 300 minor girls hockey players from novice, atom, peewee and bantam levels (ages 7 - 12 years)

WHEN: Sunday, March 23, 2014
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Girls will rotate between on and off-ice skills training, a community outreach component and a keynote address.
1:30 p.m. - Cassie Campbell-Pascall & Tessa Bonhomme keynote presentation begins
