Saskatchewan Roughrider Fans Invited to Scotiabank Game Changers Kickoff BBQ in Regina

Program Recognizes Volunteers Who Give Back to Their Communities

 

 

 

REGINA, SK - May 21, 2014 /CNW - To celebrate a new year of the Scotiabank Game Changers program, Scotiabank and the Saskatchewan Roughriders are inviting the community to a kick-off barbeque in Regina, which features Roughrider players/alumni and Gainer the Gopher in attendance, as well as great food and giveaways for fans that stop by.

Money raised by the events will go to Cameco Touchdown for Dreams. 

Scotiabank encourages everyone to take part in this year's Scotiabank Game Changers program by nominating community heroes they want to see recognized during the Saskatchewan Roughriders' regular season. Nominations open on May 28 atwww.scotiabankgamechangers.com. Individual Scotiabank Game Changers will be recognized and awarded $1,000 for the registered charity or non-profit cause of their choice at the first eight regular season home games. Scotiabank will also provide a $25,000 donation to the Scotiabank Game Changer finalist at the last regular season home game.
