Ottawa Resident Takes Home $15,000 Prize at 2014 Scotiabank EcoLiving Awards

Tim Johnson, Owner of EnergyMobile Studios Inc. Honoured With Scotiabank EcoLiving Innovation Award

 

 

OTTAWA, ON - June 09, 2014 /CNW/ - Scotiabank crowned three winners of the Scotiabank EcoLiving Awards last evening at a Gala ceremony to honour all finalists. Tim Johnson of EnergyMobile Studios Inc. took home the $15,000 Scotiabank EcoLiving Innovation Award for his submission: EnergyMobile. 

Tim Johnson and EnergyMobile Studios Inc. has built a suite of easy-to-use applications that help consumers understand home energy consumption, save money and reduce environmental impact.

The Scotiabank EcoLiving Awards are part of the Bank's customer focused environmental program, Scotiabank EcoLiving. Introduced in 2010, this program is uniquely focused on educating Canadians on the benefits of home energy efficiency and green home improvements.

Nominations for the 2014 Scotiabank EcoLiving Awards came in from all across Canada. Each one showcased innovative, creative solutions by businesses and individuals who are dedicated to enabling residential energy efficiency.
