Scotiabank Donates $35,000 to Support Ebola Relief Efforts in West Africa

TORONTO, ON - October 06, 2014 /CNW/ - Scotiabank announced today a $35,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross in support of relief efforts relating to the Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa.

The Red Cross response for the Ebola outbreak includes four critical areas which include clinical management, care for the deceased, tracing and monitoring contact with the virus and educating communities about the disease.

Scotiabank branches across Canada will also be open to receive donations from the public.
