Meaghan Mikkelson to Coach at Fourth Annual Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest in Brandon, MB

 

BRANDON, MB - November 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Canadian Olympic women's hockey champion Meaghan Mikkelson is coaching over 150 female minor hockey players at the fourth annual Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest in Brandon on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The girls will have a day of skills training, fun and encouragement to inspire them to reach for their goals. The free event is comprised of on and off-ice training, a community outreach component and a keynote address from the celebrity coach.

120 minor girls hockey players (ages 7 - 12 years)

8:30 a.m. - 11:50 a.m., girls will rotate between on-ice skills training, off-ice skills training, and a community outreach component 
12:00 p.m. - Meaghan Mikkelson keynote presentation begins
