Scotiabank celebrates new branch opening in South Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, March 21, 2017 /CNW/ - Scotiabank proudly opened the doors of a new retail branch in Grant Park Pavilions in Winnipeg yesterday.  Located at 1100 Taylor Avenue, this full service branch is open Monday-Saturday to meet the needs of Scotiabank customers in the popular and growing community hub in South Winnipeg.

"At Scotiabank, we recognize that customers' needs for their branch banking have changed significantly.  We are working alongside our customers to provide new branches that complement our other banking channels and to provide customers with a choice in how they do their banking," said Martin MacCool, District Vice President for the Winnipeg District at Scotiabank.  "Our new branch in Grant Park Pavilions offers customers extended hours and innovative technology that enable them to work alongside an advisor, or use self-service banking services tailored to fit their needs."

The new Scotiabank branch at Grant Park Pavilions offers:

  • A dedicated Small Business Advisor
  • Three full service ABMs in the branch, including a drive-thru ABM
  • Designated customer parking
  • Extended hours

This new branch will be open 9:30 a.m.5:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday; 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.   The new branch is wheelchair accessible and features three full-service ABMs, including a drive-thru ABM.
