Scotiabank Donates $15,000 to Relief Efforts in Northeastern New Brunswick

TORONTO, Feb. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - You can help support the relief efforts in northeastern New Brunswick, following the recent ice storms, by making a donation to the Canadian Red Cross: http://bit.ly/2jR3zqX. Scotiabank is donating $15,000. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the events.

"It is important that we contribute to the relief efforts following the recent ice storms," said Craig Thompson, Senior Vice President Atlantic Region, Scotiabank. "We recognize that many of Scotiabank's customers, employees and friends have been affected and we will work closely with them to ensure they receive the support they need."

The damage from the ice storm has been linked to two deaths and several hospitalizations, and caused damage to infrastructure, leaving many without electricity.
