Scotiabank's Summer of FREE movie tour reaches its final stop in Toronto with Old School at Ryerson

TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Scotiabank presents the Summer of FREE national movie tour which gives Canadians an opportunity to vote for and watch movies in unique outdoor venues for free. The tour's final stop is a student-only event in Toronto on Wednesday, September 18 at the Ryerson University Quad. What better place to see Old School than on a college campus?

Canadians across the country helped to choose the winning movie through the Summer of FREE Facebook Contest - www.facebook.com/Scotiabank - that asked: Which hilarious college movie would you want to see on campus? Old School earned the top spot with 41% of the vote.

Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and relax under the stars while they're captivated by a campus comedy on a 40-foot outdoor movie screen. Moviegoers will experience all the perks that are available to Scotiabank SCENE members year round by collecting SCENE points. Not only will attendees be treated to a free movie, but the first 500 entrants will receive complimentary popcorn. Each event will also feature a VIP section available to the first 100 Scotiabank SCENE Debit and VISA cardholders who show their Scotiabank SCENE cards.  Full event details are available at www.scotiabank.com/summeroffree.
