WINNIPEG, Aug. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Scotiabank presents the Summer of FREE national movie tour which gives Canadians an opportunity to vote for and watch movies in unique outdoor venues for free. The tour's next stop is Winnipeg, Manitoba on Wednesday, August 28 at the Scotiabank Stage located at The Forks riverside venue. What better place to see Ghostbusters than outside in the dark?

Canadians across the country helped to choose the winning movie through the Summer of FREE Facebook Contest - www.facebook.com/Scotiabank - that asked: Which of these spooky movies would you dare to see outside after dark? Ghostbusters earned the top spot with 48.4% of the vote.

Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and relax under the stars while they're captivated by a ghostly classic on a 40-foot outdoor movie screen. Moviegoers will experience all the perks that are available to Scotiabank SCENE members year round by collecting SCENE points. Not only will attendees be treated to a free movie, but the first 500 entrants will receive complementary popcorn and water.
