KELOWNA, BC, July 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Scotiabank presents the Summer of FREE national movie tour that gives Canadians an opportunity to vote for and watch movies in unique outdoor venues for free. The tour's next stop is Kelowna, BC on Wednesday, July 17 at Heartland Kelowna. What better place to see A Good Year starring Russell Crowe, than in British Columbia's wine country?

Canadians across the country helped to choose the winning movie through the Summer of FREE Facebook Contest - www.facebook.com/Scotiabank - that asked: Which romantic movie would you like to see in wine country? A Good Year earned the top spot with 44 per cent of the vote.

Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and relax under the stars while they're captivated by the romantic film on a 40-foot outdoor movie screen. Moviegoers will experience all the perks that are available to Scotiabank SCENE members year round by collecting SCENE points. Not only will attendees be treated to a free movie, but the first 500 entrants will receive complementary popcorn and water.
