Scotiabank customers will have access to an additional 470-plus fee-free ABMs 24/7
TORONTO, June 27, 2012 /CNW/ - Today Scotiabank announced that it will be giving its customers fee-free ABM access at 7-Eleven® stores in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. This expansion will boost the Bank's overall ABM network in Canada to 3,486, an increase of over 15 per cent.
"Canadians rely on the convenience of their debit cards and are among the biggest per capita users of debit services in the world," said Troy Wright, Executive Vice-President, Retail Distribution, Canadian Banking, Scotiabank. "To meet our customers' needs, we continue to expand fee-free ABM access across the country, and our upcoming expansion into 7-Eleven stores does just that by giving Scotiabank customers access to their accounts at additional convenient locations with extended hours."
Fee-free ABM access for Scotiabank cardholders at 7-Eleven Canada stores is made possible by a partnership with Cardtronics, the world's largest retail ABM owner and 7-Eleven's exclusive ABM service provider in Canada. Customers using these machines will benefit from the same strong security measures that are built into all Scotiabank ABMs with the added convenience of the increased access.
Scotiabank is in the midst of expanding its ABM access in Canadian 7-Eleven stores with complete availability expected later this summer. And, Scotiabank SCENE debit cardholders will soon see a special limited-time promotion where SCENE points will be awarded when they make ABM withdrawals at Canadian 7-Eleven stores. Updates on the locations of newly available fee-free ABMs can be accessed with the Scotiabank ABM Locator tool at scotiabank.com.
