OAKVILLE, ON, March 1, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadian women's hockey elite and gold medal winning Olympians, Cassie Campbell-Pascall and Tessa Bonhomme will team up to coach 300 female minor hockey players from the Oakville Hornets Hockey Association at Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest, Oakville on Sunday March 4, 2012 at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.
This unique opportunity will provide the girls with an unforgettable day of skills training, fun and encouragement to inspire them to achieve goals on and off the ice. The all-day event is comprised of on and off-ice training, testing out the latest hockey sticks from Pro Hockey Life and a keynote address from both coaches on how they reached their own life goals.

WHY: | Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest has taken place in Ottawa for eight years, in Calgary for five and this year was expanded to Winnipeg and Brandon, Manitoba. For the second time in Oakville, Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest offers young girls the opportunity to learn from and interact with great role models, who will help the girls develop their on-ice game skills, encourage them to reach for their dreams and celebrate the game of hockey. |
