Olympian Coaches for over 250 Minor Girls Hockey Players!

Cherie Piper and Lori Dupuis to coach girls at first ever Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest Manitoba - Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, Feb. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadian women's hockey champions Cherie Piper and Lori Dupuis are teaming up to coach over 250 female minor hockey players at first Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest Manitoba in Winnipeg on Sunday, February 19, 2012.  Hockey Manitoba and Scotiabank are bringing the event to the selected players on day one of Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest Manitoba; Brandon will have their turn on Monday February 20, 2012.

This unique opportunity will provide the girls with an unforgettable day of skills training, fun and encouragement to inspire them to achieve goals on and off the ice. The all-day event is comprised of on and off-ice training, testing out the latest hockey sticks from Pro Hockey Life and a keynote address from both coaches on reaching goals. In support of the thriving Manitoba local hockey scene, Scotiabank will be making a special presentation to Hockey Manitoba at 1:45 p.m.
