GAME ON! Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic Countdown Continues
  • Residents of Atlantic Canada can be part of the fun and 'Show Their Colours' at Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic 2011

MONCTON, NB, Sept. 7, 2011 /CNW/ - With only 18 days to go until the big game, Scotiabank, the Official Bank of the CFL, invites residents of Atlantic Canada to gear up for the big game on Sunday, September 25 in Moncton, NB as the Calgary Stampeders take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.  In its second year, football fever will excite fans of all ages as they cheer on their favourite teams and celebrate the sport in their community.

Residents of Atlantic Canada are invited to stop by their local Scotiabank branch to enter to win a pair of highly coveted tickets to Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic game at Stade Moncton Stadium.

All visitors to Moncton are encouraged to stop by the Scotiabank festivities at the Street Festival, and to check out the following:

  • Scotiabank Football Experience: September 23-24 on Main Street in Downtown Moncton.  This FREE experience will give CFL fans of all ages the chance to participate in many interactive games including Scotiabank Throw Like a Pro (where participants can test out their throwing arm), the Scotiabank Field-Goal Challenge, and the Scotiabank Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum, a display showcasing historic memorabilia.  Fans will also be able to 'show their colours' by getting their face painted in their team's colours on game day before heading into Stade Moncton Stadium.

  • Scotiabank Pigskin Soiree: Saturday, September 24 at The Delta Beausejour Hotel in downtown Moncton.  Gala ticket holders are invited to an evening of food and entertainment unique to Moncton.  The Gala event features key CFL personalities and local cuisine.

  • Scotiabank Kid Captain: Two kids between the ages of 7 - 14 years will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the Ticats and the Stampeders on-field for a unique experience.  The two Scotiabank Kid Captains will each receive a branded Hamilton/Calgary team jersey and prize pack. They will also attend the ceremonial coin-toss at mid-field and each holds their team's flag during the National Anthem.

  • Scotiabank 'Show Your Colours' Flag Race: The in-game contest will see two fans race head to head before the start of the fourth quarter to see who will cross the finish line first after placing their three flags at varying intervals on the field...  The race winner will receive a $500 Scotiabank product, and the runner-up will receive a $100 CFL Prize Pack.
