Dynamic Event Kicks Off Key Epilepsy Toronto Fundraiser - Tuesday August 23
TORONTO, Aug. 18, 2011 /CNW/ - The Third Annual Scotiabank BuskerBall kicks-off North America's largest street performer festival, Scotiabank BuskerFest, on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in the St. Lawrence Market North Market. Both events help raise much needed funds and awareness for Epilepsy Toronto. The evening is one of glamour, gastronomical delights and dazzling entertainment by some of the festival's headlining acts.

WHY: | Approximately one in 100 people live with epilepsy, the world's most common neurological disorder. Epilepsy Toronto is a non-profit organization that provides support to more than 40,000 people living with epilepsy in this city. The 12th Annual Scotiabank BuskerFest, Toronto's International Street Performer's Festival, launches on Thursday August, 25th at noon and continues through to Sunday, August 28th, 2011. The Festival takes place throughout the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood along Front Street, from Jarvis Street to Yonge Street and all adjacent side streets.
