Annual Runners Expo, Pasta Dinner and Race Day Photo Opps
CALGARY, May 27, 2011 /CNW/ - The 47th annual Scotiabank Calgary Marathon race weekend kicks off on Friday evening with the opening of the annual Health and Wellness Expo at the Max Bell Centre. The weekend-long festivities will lead up to the sound of the starting gun at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 29 when more than 9,000 runners will participate in the full marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K, while raising more than $300,000 for 30 charities in the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge.
