MONTREAL AND TORONTO, May 19 /CNW/ - In the wake of the flooding in Québec, Scotiabank has donated $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross campaign. The Bank is also inviting Canadians to visit their local Scotiabank branch to make a donation to the Red Cross. "We have a very long history in Quebec, having opened our first branch in the province in 1888," said Diane Giard, Senior Vice-President, Quebec and Eastern Ontario Region, Scotiabank. "Our thoughts are with the people in the Montérégie and the surrounding area who are going through this difficult time and we hope this donation will help.
