MONTREAL, April 12 /CNW/ - This Sunday, April 17th, more than 3,500 recreational and elite runners will lace up for 24 local causes and gather at Parc Jean Drapeau for the ninth annual Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal et 5K race. For the fourth consecutive year, Sunday's event will host the Canadian Half Marathon Championships, where Canada's best distance runners - Reid Coolsaet, Matt Loiselle, Dana Pidhoresky and Megan Brown - will challenge one another to bring home the Canadian Championship title.
