VANCOUVER, March 30 /CNW/ - Young hockey hopefuls from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Vancouver will break-in their new ride Friday afternoon as they gear up to participate in the after school hockey program courtesy of a $50,000 donation by Scotiabank.

The donation allowed for the purchase of a new 24 passenger bus to transport more kids from the Boys and Girls Clubhouse in Vancouver to Planet Ice in Coquitlam where the volunteer-led hockey program takes place.  Vancouver Canucks Alumni Orland Kurtenbach and Bob Murray lead the legendary coaching team and have spearheaded the hockey program since 2009.
