/R E P E A T -- Scotiabank to celebrate 100th International Women's Day with Global Initiative and Women-Focused Exhibition/

TORONTO, March 4 /CNW/ - Scotiabank will celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day by supporting women's organizations here in Toronto, across Canada and around the world through a global employee drive to collect toiletries for women's charities and shelters. Toiletries collected by employees in Toronto will be donated to NELLIE'S Shelter for Women.

Scotiabank will also continue the tradition of hosting local women's groups at its 'Women Helping Women Charity Fair' to inform the public about the important work being done with, and on behalf of, Canadian women. The event will be open to the public and will feature some of Scotiabank's partners whose initiatives support the personal and professional development of women.
