TSN to highlight participants in season-long family football initiatives
TORONTO, June 30 /CNW/ - Scotiabank today announced the official launch of a once-in-a-lifetime CFL experience for kids between the ages of 7 - 14. The Scotiabank Kid Captain experience allows young football enthusiasts the chance to participate in pre-game and on-field festivities including the coin toss, to help kick-off the game with their CFL home team throughout the season.
"This year, football fans across Canada can expect a season full of unique opportunities to make their football experience more engaging," said Rick White, Scotiabank Vice-President, Marketing. "Scotiabank Kid Captain will give kids the opportunity to feel the excitement of participating in their favourite teams' home game and playoffs, Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic and even the Grey Cup."

TSN will also feature Scotiabank Kid Captain participants during in-game coverage in select games throughout the season as part of a media agreement that will also showcase football families as part of a "Show Your Colours" segment during regular season Friday broadcasts.

In September, two Scotiabank Kid Captains will be selected to participate in Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic in Moncton, NB at the first regular season CFL game to be played on the East Coast.
