Scotiabank & CFL partner for a touchdown in Atlantic Canada!

MONCTON, NB, March 23 /CNW/ - With the excitement building for Atlantic Canada's first-ever regular season Canadian Football League (CFL) game in September 2010, Scotiabank and the CFL today announced title sponsorship of Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic, featuring the Edmonton Eskimos and the 'home team' Toronto Argonauts. The game takes place at Stade Moncton Stadium on Sunday, September 26th in Moncton, NB.

"Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic features two of our flagship franchises and is a celebration of our league and the many football fans across Atlantic Canada," said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon. "And now this event features one of the League's great partners with a strong history in the region dating back to 1832."

Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic is a weekend-long festival. The event will host a flurry of football activities including the Scotiabank Gala dinner on Saturday, September 25th. The weekend will feature Atlantic Canadian entertainment, refreshments, and high school and university level football games, culminating with the big game on Sunday afternoon.

Individuals and families can be the first to buy tickets by registering now at CFL.ca/TouchdownAtlantic for a special 24-hour pre-sale that will take place on Wednesday, March 24th. Registration for the pre-sale closes at Midnight @ on March 23rd.

Tickets for Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic go on-sale to the general public on Thursday, March 25. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting CFL.ca/TouchdownAtlantic or by calling 506-857-4100 or 888-720-5600.
