SASKATOON, March 21 /CNW/ - NHL Alumni Dave Manson will spend the evening with Saskatoon's minor hockey team, the Renegade Atom 2 River Kings on Sunday as part of the Scotiabank NHL Alumni Skills Contest - offering professional coaching and skills training to 10 winning teams across Canada. Manson will also spend time with the team off-ice addressing the importance of teamwork, dedication and highlighting his journey to the NHL.

    WHY:      The Renegade Atom 2 River Kings are one of 10 teams who won on-
              ice training with former NHL stars under the Scotiabank/NHL
              Alumni Skills Contest. Each team will have a chance to meet
              and work with one member of the NHL Alumni Association.

Teams qualified for the Scotiabank NHL Alumni Skills contest through the broader Scotiabank Community Hockey Sponsorship program where Scotiabank branches across Canada were given funds to contribute to minor hockey teams in the 2009-10 season. Along with the financial support, each team in the Scotiabank Community Hockey Sponsorship Program receives exclusive Scotiabank Hockey Club Team Kits which include jersey crests, player booklets, mini first aid kits from Pro Hockey Life, and the NHL DVD, Just like me - The legends and the chance to win a number of memorable hockey experiences.
