WINNIPEG, March 20 /CNW/ - NHL Alumni Curtis Leschyshyn will spend the evening with Winnipeg's minor girls hockey team, the St. Norbert Storm on Saturday as part of the Scotiabank NHL Alumni Skills Contest - offering professional coaching and skills training to 10 winning teams across Canada. Leschyshyn will also spend time with the team off-ice addressing the importance of teamwork, dedication and highlighting his journey to the NHL.

Teams qualified for the Scotiabank NHL Alumni Skills contest through the broader Scotiabank Community Hockey Sponsorship program where Scotiabank branches across Canada were given funds to contribute to minor hockey teams in the 2009-10 season. Along with the financial support, each team in the Scotiabank Community Hockey Sponsorship Program receives exclusive Scotiabank Hockey Club Team Kits which include jersey crests, player booklets, mini first aid kits from Pro Hockey Life, and the NHL DVD, Just like me - The legends and the chance to win a number of memorable hockey experiences.
