Countdown to Grey Cup Festivities is on!
-   Scotiabank, Official Bank of the CFL, invites everyone to 'show their
        colours'!

CALGARY, Nov. 26 /CNW/ - Scotiabank, the Official Bank of the CFL, is gearing up for Grey Cup Weekend with a host of interactive pursuits guaranteed to pump up the excitement level among CFL fans by giving them the opportunity to 'show their colours'.

"CFL fans are passionate about this game and their teams. Whether their favourites are in the final or not, they'll have plenty of opportunities to celebrate their favourite team and players."

Scotiabank's sponsorship of the 2009 Calgary Grey Cup Festival includes:

-   Scotiabank Pro Players' Party presented by Gibson's Finest,
        November 27 at Flames Central where fans can mingle with current and
        past CFL All-Stars. Scotiabank is also presenting sponsor of the
        Gibson's Finest Pro Players' Award Show After Party on November 26 at
        Flames Central where fans can also rub shoulders with award winners,
        nominees and CFL icons.

    -   Scotiabank CFL Experience, November 27 - 29 at the Telus Convention
        Centre. This FREE event will give CFL fans of all ages the chance to
        interact with their favourite CFL all stars and alumni, participate
        in various interactive CFL camp drills, games and experiences and
        visit the TSN Broadcast Zone. A display by the Canadian Football Hall
        of Fame presented by Scotiabank will also be on the floor for fans to
        view.

    -   Scotiabank CFL Player Autographs, November 27 - 29 on Stephen Avenue
        Mall in front of the Scotiabank branch. Scotiabank will host a
        variety of CFL players who will autograph commemorative Grey Cup
        prints by Canadian artist Ken Danby. Fans will also be able to 'show
        their colours' by getting airbrush tattoos or have their face painted
        in their team's colours. Before entering the Telus Centre, fans can
        test their football know-how in the Scotiabank CFL Trivia Challenge.

    -   Scotiabank Grey Cup Gala Dinner & Concert, November 28 at the
        Pengrowth Saddledome. Ticket holders are invited to come sporting
        their favourite CFL team's colours. Following the gala dinner on the
        'Dome's ice surface, concertgoers will be treated to performances by
        Great Big Sea, George Canyon, Divine Brown, The Canadian Tenors and
        Sophie Millman.

    -   'Show Your Colours' Football Displays. Giant footballs that look like
        they are breaking through the ground will be sure to capture fans'
        attention in a variety of locations around the city including the
        Calgary Airport, Stephen Avenue Mall, Olympic Plaza, Telus Convention
        Centre, the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium.

Scotiabank is also running the 'Show Your Colours' Flag Race during the break after the 3rd quarter of the Grey Cup Game. One Montreal fan and one Saskatchewan fan will be chosen to plant two "Show Your Colours" flags and one team flag at five yard intervals along the field. The first one back over the finish line wins a pair of 2010 season tickets for the CFL team of their choice.
