    TORONTO, Sept. 3 /CNW/ - On September 10th, NHL Alumni will host its
annual gala as part of the NHL Alumni Week Festivities.WHAT:  The 2009 NHL Alumni Gala Dinner presented by Scotiabank

    WHO:   Guest Emcee - Dave Schultz

           More than 70 NHL Greats of all eras in attendance. No autographs
           permitted.

           -  Gordie Howe, Mr. Hockey(TM) who will receive the NHL Alumni
              'Man of the Year' award, to recognize his ongoing commitment to
              the game at all levels through his continued commitment in
              community and charitable causes.
           -  Scotty Morrison, who will receive the Keith McCreary '7th Man
              Award,' in recognition of his behind the scenes contribution to
              the sport. This Award is named in honor and memory of Keith
              McCreary, Chairman of the NHL Alumni Association who passed
              away December 9, 2003.
           -  Earle Connor, 2008 Canadian paralympics athlete and gold medal
              winner, who will receive the Ace Bailey 'Award of Courage'.
              This Award is named in honor memory of Garnet "Ace" Bailey, a
              former NHL'er who died in the September 11 tragedy.

    WHEN:  September 10th, 2009, 6:00 p.m.Tickets $4,000 per table of 8 guests plus 1 NHL Alumnus/Guest or $500 per
individual ticket.
