TORONTO, July 15 /CNW/ -What: A mini-bike clinic offered by the Friends for Life Bike Rally mechanics. Services will include inflation of tires, chain cleaning and lube, quick adjustments and safety checks. There is no charge for the service, but donations to support the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation will be gratefully accepted. Who: Toronto cyclists Friends For Life Bike Mechanics When: 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 17th, 2009 Where: Scotia Plaza, 40 King Street West, Adelaide Courtyard Why: This event leads up to the Friends For Life Bike Rally in support of PWA, presented by Scotiabank, which leaves Toronto on July 26th. 350 courageous individuals will cycle more than 600 km over six days from Toronto to Montreal with the support of a fabulous crew, raising thousands of dollars for men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS. The experience promises to have a profound impact on the lives of each and every participant. The Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA) is the largest direct support service agency of its kind for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Canada.
