    Scotiabank Giller Prize invites readers to Guess the Giller

    TORONTO, Oct. 7 /CNW/ - Booklovers are invited to "Guess the Giller" by
participating in the 15th anniversary of the Scotiabank Giller Prize and
voting for their choice of winner between October 7 and November 10, 2008.
Since its inception four years ago, the most popular choice among "Guess the
Giller" participants has also been the Jury's select as the winner of the
Scotiabank Giller Prize.
    The annual "Guess The Giller" contest gives visitors the chance to win a
trip for two to any Canadian literary festival of their choice and an
autographed Scotiabank Giller Prize book set, a package valued at $5,000.

coast.

    The Scotiabank Giller Prize launched "Guess The Giller" in 2003 together
with the Toronto Public Library. This year more than 30 public library
systems, 175 bookstores - including Indigo, Chapters and Coles, post secondary
schools, literary festivals and over one thousand Scotiabank branches are
promoting the contest to Canadian readers, and the Indigo Online Community has
established groups at www.chapters.indigo.ca/giller for booklovers to review
