Media Advisory - Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Race Day Schedule and Media Access Information

    TORONTO, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - The 9th annual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront
Marathon, Half-Marathon and 5km Run/Walk will take place in Toronto this
Sunday September 28, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. This year, close to 15,000 runners will
compete in the event, be cheered on by thousands spectators along their race
route while raising money for more than 60 charities. More than 1,000
Scotiabank MarathonKIDS will also be completing the final 5k of a marathon
which they have been running intervals of since the start of the school year.Race Start Times

    All races start and finish at Nathan Phillip Square (nearest intersection
    Queen and Bay Streets)

    7:30 a.m.    Full Marathon start (42.2 km)
    7:30 a.m.    Half-Marathon start (21.1 km) with Full Marathon
    8:15 a.m.    5 km Run/Walk start with Scotiabank MarathonKIDS
