Media Advisory - Scotiabank to announce results of national branch pin sales campaign to help send participants to the World Conference on Breast Cancer

    WINNIPEG, June 6 /CNW/ -WHY:   Scotiabank, the Premier Sponsor of the 5th World Conference on
           Breast Cancer currently being held in Winnipeg, will present a
           six-figure donation to the World Conference on Breast Cancer
           Foundation to help defray costs for conference delegates who may
           otherwise not have been able to attend.

           Since April 1, 2008, Scotiabank employees in branches across the
           country have sold World Conference lapel pins to raise funds.
           Scotiabank has also provided corporate matching funds to lend
           additional support.

           world to engage in discussion and develop valuable tools to assist
           them in their journey with breast cancer. Scotiabank is a founding
           sponsor of the Conference.
