Media Advisory & Photo Opportunity - Scotiabank-sponsored Veterans Recognition Poppy Plaques to be officially presented to Nepean Veterans at Ben Franklin Place

    NEPEAN, ON, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - On Saturday, November 10, 2007, the
Scotiabank-sponsored Nepean Veterans Poppy Plaque will be officially presented
to Nepean-area veterans in the presence of Nepean elected officials and other
dignitaries at Ben Franklin Place from 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
    In recognition of the service and sacrifice of the Nepean-area veterans
and surviving spouses of the Second World War, Scotiabank is very pleased to
be the sponsor for the production of this unique, all-weather plaque that
Nepean area veterans can proudly display inside or outside of their homes. The
Poppy Plaque design and program were officially presented earlier in October
and this will be the first presentation of the Poppy Plaques to the veterans
of Nepean.
