Gr. 9 Students put their Pencils and Books Away for a Day of Hard Work at Scotiabank

    TORONTO, Nov. 6 /CNW/ - Scotiabank is opening its doors to Gr.9 students
on Take Our Kids to Work Day, learning what makes Scotiabank an exciting place
to work. Students will gain knowledge of unconventional bank jobs like
marketing and bank security, visit the trading floor, job shadow their parents

since its inception. More than 1,000 students across Canada are expected to
spend the day with their parents - tellers, traders, administrators, managers
and executives - who work in various roles at the Bank and its subsidiaries.

    Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national program organized in part with
the Learning Partnership - a non-profit national organization which brings
together business, education, government, labour, policy makers and the
community to develop partnerships that strengthen public education in Canada.
