NEPEAN, ON, Oct. 24 /CNW/ - The Scotiabank-sponsored Nepean Veterans Plaque will be officially unveiled by the Nepean Museum at the Bells Corners Legion in the presence of Nepean elected officials. In recognition of the service and sacrifice of the Nepean area veterans and surviving spouses of the Second World War, Scotiabank is very pleased to be the sponsor for the production of this unique, all-weather plaque that Nepean area veterans can proudly display inside or outside of their homes. The event will take place at Ben Franklin Place at 101 Centrepointe Drive in Nepean, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dignitaries from the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Royal Canadian Legion are expected to attend the ceremony which will include a Royal Canadian Legion Colour Party and a Military Band.
