Scotiabank and CBC's Hockey Night In Canada bring a new Pre-Game Show to homes across Canada

    CBC's Hockey Night In Canada's pre-game show will also reach out to kids
    in communities across Canada

    TORONTO, Sept. 20 /CNW/ - Scotiabank and CBC's Hockey Night In Canada
today announced a partnership to sponsor the CBC's Hockey Night In Canada
pre-game show with the title Scotiabank Hockey Tonight.
    "For Canadians, hockey plays a pivotal role in community life," said John

partner with CBC in bringing the culture of a Canadian sport to homes across
Canada."
    CBC's Hockey Night In Canada, the televised broadcast of NHL games across
Canada is one of the highest-rated Canadian programs on television and one of
the world's longest-running sports related televised programs still on air.
The pre-game show, Scotiabank Hockey Tonight will begin 30 minutes prior to
the start of the telecast of the first game.

Saturday night, and will be the destination for viewers each week as they get

    To help build and support Canada's next generation of hockey greats - and
hockey fans, Scotiabank Hockey Tonight will bring Hockey Night In Canada to
kids in communities across Canada. Minor hockey teams from coast to coast to
coast will have the opportunity to introduce the program on television leading
up to the broadcast through Scotiabank Hockey Tonight Kids. Teams can sign up
online at cbcsports.ca/hockey, beginning October 4, 2007.

    Also included throughout CBC's Hockey Night In Canada's third period
