Road Closure Advisory - Showcasing 50 World-Class Buskers and performing for over 350,000 spectators at Scotiabank Buskerfest from Thursday August 23 - Sunday August 26, 2007

    Road closures in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 23
    2007 and from 9:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 24 through to
    Sunday August 26, 2007.

    TORONTO, Aug. 22 /CNW/ - The Scotiabank Buskerfest in support of Epilepsy
Toronto will take place in the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood from Thursday
August 23, 2007 to Sunday August 26, 2007. This year's Buskerfest will feature
50 Buskers from around the world and will bring more than 350,000 spectators
to the market neighbourhood.
    The Scotiabank Buskerfest will raise awareness and funds for Epilepsy
Toronto, a non-profit organization that helps people living with epilepsy and
provides support for their families. One in every 100 Canadians experience
some form of epilepsy and Epilepsy Toronto is committed to promoting
independence and improving quality of life for them and their families.Festival Road Closures:

        - Front Street between Jarvis and Church Streets including Market
          Street will be closed to motorized vehicles on Thursday from
          9:30 a.m. - 11 p.m.

        - Front Street from Jarvis to Scott Streets including Market Street,
          and Church Street from Front Street and the Esplanade will be
          closed on Friday August 24 at 9:30 a.m. through to Sunday August 26
          at 11:59 p.m.Street signs will be directing traffic towards alternate routes.
