    Scotiabank increases prime lending rate 
    
    TORONTO, July 10 /CNW/ - Scotiabank today announced an increase of one
quarter of one per cent in its Canadian dollar prime lending rate. The new
rate is 6.25 per cent, effective July 11, 2007.
