Scotiabank changes mortgage rates

    TORONTO, June 8 /CNW/ - Scotiabank announced today the following changes
in residential mortgage interest rates, effective June 9:- six-month flexible  6.65 per cent     (increases by 0.10 per cent)
    - six-month open      8.50 per cent     (increases by 0.10 per cent)
    - one-year open       9.10 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - one-year closed     7.05 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - two-year closed     7.30 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - three-year closed   7.35 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - four-year closed    7.35 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - five-year closed    7.29 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - seven-year closed   7.50 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)
    - ten-year closed     8.39 per cent     (increases by 0.15 per cent)

                 All other mortgage rates remain unchanged.
